Actually, I think it may be the faucet. A couple of years ago I made the mistake of camping with a water hookup and not using the pressure restricter. I was at the bottom of a hill, to boot. My plumbing exploded then, for the first time, and I've had intermittent problems ever since. I guess when I'm home again I'll need to change out the faucet. In the meantime I'll just keep an eye on the fittings, use only the water pump (and not city water), and turn it off whenever I leave the trailer.

I would bet your assessment is correct, Mike. Those taps are very inexpensive should this be the problem. I would still confirm the integrity of the water line connection threads too.

Yep sounds right to me. I would consider replacing the fittings as well. You could go with standard braided stainless hoses like in the house right from your new valves.
