Found it in the installation guide, PE means previous error. I have to disconnect from power to reset, will try that tomorrow to clear the cache. Never knew it had a memory feature.

The Previous Error that occurred, PE4 is low voltage.

Had the same PE 4 last week. Our power cord was loose. Reset by unplugging and starting over with power cord and at electrical box.

Yeah, that means it shut down for low voltage, then tried to start up again. That cycling is bad for your stuff, and is one reason I bought one of those Hughes "gadgets/voltage booster" that swaps amperage for voltage. It's a voltage "booster" that kicks in when things get below the standard 110-120 range. It actually works great, and I can tell my AC unit loves it. It starts and spins happier.

I t has been plugged in 24/7 since last December, this is the first time I notice it, not sure when it happened, but other than the batteries, nothing else is on. We did lose our power last month during a storm, possible from that. I'll reset it tomorrow and watch for it again.
