RecPro 9500 with Honda 2000 gen?

Can anyone tell me if the RecPro (Houghton) 9500 ac will run on a Honda 2000 (older, not 2200) gen? If it will not will probably leave the gen at home.


Know other ac usage will probably not be possible at the same time.

I’ve run my Coleman 13,500 with soft start on my Honda 2000, but not tried it above 1000’ yet.

It is new enough I presume it has soft start?

I have the recpro 9500 and a 2200i. It works, but barely. I'm guessing the 2000 won't handle it.
