SensorPush anomaly

I use the SensorPush temperature sending devices in both compartments of my trailer fridge. When I travel I mount a tablet in my Tacoma for navigation and to help keep an eye on things.

Last Thursday about thirty minutes into a trip to Orlando I got a notification on the tablet that my freezer was above its safe limit. I've never had a problem with the freezer compartment; it was at 7 degrees F when I left the house. I had my usual cussfit then pulled off at a rest stop to check it out. By then the reading was at seven degrees again. The SensorPush had a "burp" in which it shot up to 46 degrees for no apparent reason. It gave no problems for the rest of the trip. Hmm.

I have three Sensor Push. Now, in the off season I repurpose them. One monitors inside household temps. That particular unit had a hiccup like yours. I do not have alarms set so I noticed it only when viewing monthly history. Over three years I have only seen it once.

You could go back and look at history files, if you did not delete history it is there since day one. Quite easy to scroll back while viewing in the weekly mode.

I delete history on an intermittent basis. There are a phenomenal number of data points, they slow any viewing of history, take up space and have limited value.

I have had to replace a couple of units, under warranty. I find these units are not waterproof, they may be water resistant. If you are exposing them to moisture for long periods they can be unhappy. Since I do not need humidity measured I wonder if they could be sealed better or in a sealed case?
