Sewer Kit

Picking up our new 21C later this month in KC. Does Escape include a sewer kit? Another question is, what is the ball height needed for level towing? Thanks ahead, we can't wait to get our new baby. Sold our 2012 Casita (in 30 min. never even had to advertise) about a month ago and have missed it daily.

Double check with your sales person, but you may get one sewer hose. You will need a water hose as well as pressure regulator. IMMSMR, 19" is the desired height

Their 21C brochure under 21C Base Features says "Sewer Hose & Storage Compartment".

Congrats on your upcoming Escape. Ours is set to be competed in October. Our plan is to pick it up in Sumas.

We ordered a sewage kit, but didn’t get it. It was surprising to pull up to a dump station on the way back from Sumas (at the spring NOG event) and find no sewage hose.

Fortunately the black tank is so large that we had no issues, and I dumped the gray water into a trough that flowed to the dump station.

Our July 2022 trailer came with a sewer hose, toilet paper and a couple of pieces of Escape swag.

Mine came with a sewer hose and I bought an adapter to connect with a campground drain. The hose that they supplied was OK but I had to unscrew the adapter each time. I bought a Rhino hose and It is much better than the one from Excape.

We ordered the separate sewer kit package. Got a Rhino hose, toilet chemical, toilet paper, and I think a 25' white hose. We later bought a 90° adapter. We also got gratis a terrible sewer hose that does not connect to anything, it was slightly smaller diameter than the rhino.

Agreed. The hose from Escape isn't great for long term usage. Like others, I would recommend some version of the Camco Rhino-Flex. The clear plastic elbow is really helpful so whatever kit you get, try to make sure that's included.

I've found this is really helpful as a lot of dump stations, the drain pipe doesn't have adequate threads to secure the RhinoFlex orange adapter thing, so you put that in this, then this will friction fit into almost any pipe. I only pull it out if the orange ring is loose in the drain.

Does this fit into the storage bumper compartment?

It is my understanding that it comes with a sewer hose. I was one of the surprised new owners who found out theirs was missing. Fortunately I looked before moving to the dump station. Escape offered to send me one but since they said it was a low quality one and I had already purchased a Kit at Walmart I declined. I asked them if they could send something I might use like a water filter they said that was not possible.

The sewer hose that Escape provides is flimsy and basically worthless. I’d say to get a good one before you go camping.
As far as tow height for my Escape 19, it is 19””, give or take a 1/2 inch. Escape customized my WDH setting to fit my Tacoma.
We picked our trailer up in KC in February of 2021. Former Casita owners who love our additional space and smoother ride.

The sewer hose ETI provides is functional and there's no need to replace it before you've even used it.

If the sewer hose they install today is the same design I got 9 years ago, well, mine got plenty of use and ain't broke yet. I did add a see-through attachment to see when the thing has done its work.
