Solar Charging When Connected to TV

I own a 2022 21NE with Victron MTTP 100/20. The trailer also has a Victron DC - DC charger. Is solar charging interrupted when the trailer is connected to my 2022 F-150 XLT Powerboost via the 7 pin connector?

No, No, No. (I'm not being emphatic here, one "No" would have adequately answered the question but responses must be at least 6 characters long.)

Also, unless you have a Lithium battery setup, you don't "need" the DC-DC charger.

Given how things normally have been wired in the past, it should not interrupt solar charging. (How's that for a cautious answer?)

The short answer: No. Each charge source will contribute current to the battery...and if you have the Victron Shunt you can see this happening real time.

Donny, do you have a Victron Smart charger? If so, and I assume you know this, you can see the charge current using the BT app.

If not, then I suggest and recommend installing the Victron Shunt to fully monitor not only charge current at the battery but SOC (State of Charge) of the battery including all current that flows in and out of the battery.
