Toilet never used

How can I tell if a toilet has never been used? Seller is stating this.

If is is so new that you can't tell it probably doesn't matter.

If the trailer is in nice condition and been well taken care of. How does it matter? Do your due diligence and check out each of the different components and realize even if it’s working today doesn’t mean it won’t need fixing tomorrow.

Why bother?

But if you must:

1. Acquire and use a super bright LED flashlight to peer down into the black tank by opening the ball valve. Look for deposits.

2. Mostly fill the black tank with fresh water and drain it, while observing or capturing the effluent. Look for deposits.

I don't think it matters one iota whether the toilet was used or not.

YMMV

If they didn't use the toilet better check around for what they used. Maybe the closet, sink or shower?

Guess that's what the PO of our TA said too. After getting it home I dumped the black tank to find guess what Glad Escape Hatch tank was nice and clean in 2014 and if I recall you even included some toilet chemical.

Our brand new 19 came with stuff in the black tank that wasn’t all water. If it really bugs you after cleaning, you could install, or have installed a new toilet.
