Using shore power while the batteries are disconnected
I need to work in the battery compartment in my Escape 21 to replace the solar panel controller, install a B2B charger, etc. The 12V master switch won't help me in this situation, so I wish to disconnect battery power via unhooking a negative cable from the batteries. But I'd still like to have 120V available for a drop light, A/C if needed, etc., while I'm working on the 12V system. Is there any reason why I cannot use shore power with the trailer's batteries disconnected?
