Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park was an interesting stop if you can get in early enough in the day to check it and the town out.

If you have time check out the National Naval Aviation Museum just west of Pensacola. Admission is FREE and there are loads of exhibits and planes on display. Easy to spend an entire day. There is a State Park where you can camp just 10 minutes away in Perdido Key and the beaches are white sugar sand. The Blue Angles are based at NAS Pensacola and if you are lucky you might get to see them practice (check schedule). Here is a link so you can check it out. Have been there 6 or 7 times and keep going back whenever I am in the area. It's awesome.

Welcome - National Naval Aviation Museum

We've camped twice at Stephen Foster Folk Cultural Center.
Really nice campgrounds . We enjoyed the carillon music and the museum. If we ever go back to Florida , it will be on our list of places to visit.

Some referred to it as the Boeing Body Bag - fortunately it always came through for me and got me back safely!
