I'll be driving back down on Feb. 6. The weather there on Mon-Wen was pleasant. Mid 70's and sunny.

If anyone is there now for the RV show, Don't park in the first space in first row in front of the "Vendors Registration" trailer. The person who works "in the office" rides a broom disguised as a Ram duelly p/u truck and that's HER parking space. The space is distinguishable by the two white lines on the ground on each side of the vehicle and two orange cones along side the fire lane.

thinking about it. if we do, dates will be 2/6-9. we went last year and had a great time. the group spreads out for a 1/4 mile or so on Dome Rock Road. We're coming from the west and plan on pulling in and finding a spot on the western end of the group but back off the highway. Love to have some Escapee's for company.

I figure we will arrive the afternoon of the 6th. We are meeting up with friends from previous years and also have a couple of friends coming in a B+ from Boise, and a there is a good chance our Casita will show up with its new owners.

Hope to see you there!

Due to annoying forum software behaviour, this looked to the forum like "Jan 2" plus a sunglasses-wearing emoticon. I assume it was supposed to be
"I'm arriving tomorrow (Jan. 28 )."

(You need a space after the "8" or it gets combined with the ")" to make 8) )

Thanks! I tried to edit my post but my tablet wouldn't let me ( the software gods have a quirky sense of humor ;-) )

We'll be cruising in around 3. Early start and a long drive from north of Santa Barbara. Love the rain just wish it could wait a day!

Beyond Quartzsite

Greetings Escapees.

We were at Quartzsite, now we are at Organ Pipes Cactus National Monument.

Here is our Escape ensconced amongst the Saguaro cactuses. (Did he just say ensconced? )

A couple of shots from Quartzsite

I guess I put the cart before the horse, here are a couple of pics at the Quartzsite Casita Rally, which incidentally had at least 3, or maybe 4 Escape 19's and a number of other non-Casitas. It was nice to see everyone again, and meet some new folks. Had a good time, hope everyone else did too.

Here the Quartzsite Airforce buzzed Casitaville. Went right over the top of our trailer!

The cactus are cool, as are the rest of the shots.

It was a full month in the trailer. It kinda shrinks a bit near the end.

Was a good trip.

Time to clean, refit and ready for July-August!

Plus we will have a few short weekenders in the interim.

See you!
