and drilled the exact sized hole in the light side facing the front of the bath, you can also point it down, install the light and just push the wires into the factory splice, put some putty tape to hold and done. I installed several of these to find the lights at night without turning on the overheads, some with switches some without. The draw is so minimal, less than the propane detector. Again with the switch you will need to wire the switch to the positive lead. You can splice or try the
stick the wire into the compressed wire joint and stick some butyl tape to hold, your choice.
