Our route was different at the beginning because we started in San Antonio. But it could be the same once you reach Albuquerque. Shortest route is Amarillo, Albuquerque, Salt Lake, Boise, Yakima, Seattle, then up to Chilliwack. If time is not a concern, then maybe a more eastern route as mentioned.

We did Austin to Lubbock, Amarillo, Dalhart, Raton, Denver, Cheyenne, Billings, Spokane, Seattle, and stayed 2 nights at Harrison Hot Springs before picking up our 21. A little longer than other routes. Coming back stayed at Fort Worden State Park, Cascade Locks Oregon, West Yellowstone, Grand Tetons NP, Cody WY, Riverton (for the Eclipse) and southeastward to home. 4 weeks.

Ours was Austin > Santa Fe, NM > Park City, UT > Pendleton, OR > near Seattle, WA > Chilliwack, BC. Travel days were long, but we weren't pulling a trailer (yet) and in Santa Fe and Park City we visited friends/family,staying 2 nights each of those.
Seattle to Chilliwack wasn't a long day, but we had lunch at a favorite spot in Seattle, and stopped at the KOA in Lynden, WA, reserving a spot for the next night's stay with our new Escape.
We spent the night in Chilliwack because we had an 8:00am orientation and did not want to do an early morning border crossing.
YMMV, of course.

In August 2015 we did a variation of others. The trip north was Houston, Amarillo, Castle Rock, Casper, Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, Bozeman, Spokane and Chilliwack. The return was a more western track. Chilliwack, Whidbey Island, Fort Stevens SP, LaPine SP, Collier Memorial SP, Crater Lake, Winnemucca, Salt Lake City, Dead Horse Point SP, Arches NP, Farmington, Albuquerque, Brantley SP, Carlsbad Caverns, San Angelo SP and finally Houston. The total trip was a little over three weeks.
