Do you want a campsite at Dead Horse Point May 3-6?

I have a reservation for campsite #11 at Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah for 4 nights May 3-4-5-6 that I will not be able to use. If you'd like to have this reservation send me a PM and we can coordinate the transfer. I'll get some info from you and then I can call the reservation call center and transfer it to you. Once that's done you can send me payment for the site and you'll be all set.

The cost of this reservation is $50/night plus a $13 online reservation fee for a total of $213. This is high for a state park, but the campsite fee also includes the $20 day use fee per day that is charged just to enter the park. If you're not familiar with Dead Horse Point SP check it out at https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/dead-horse/.

The park is up high on a slender mesa adjacent to the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands NP. Lots of hiking and great views up there, and convenient to Moab and Arches NP while being away from all the hustle and bustle of those crowded areas. The campsites have electric hookups and there are water spigots at the bathroom buildings where you can fill jugs to take more water to your trailer as needed. There is also a dump station. Site 11 is a long back-in, easily accessible and with good separation from nearby campsites.

Just adding a comment to bump this back up on the list to get noticed - this is a good chance to grab a hard to get reservation the easy way at a great park.

Just to back up what Dave is saying: Not only is it a great state park, it is also close to Canyonlands National Park, Island In The Sky district. Desert photographers will be in heaven.

One last mention of this, no interest so far and if no one wants it I will just cancel.

Weird; that is always a booked CG. ISky is awesome too- especially now with the Timed Entry Requirement for Arches.

Subject line could be read as somebody looking for a site, not offering one.

Good point Glenn, I'll be sure to be more clear on any future campsite listings. Looks like I'm getting a little chemo brain already...

Thanks Donna. I'll leave it up for a while in the hope that someone can use it, these sites are really hard to come by this time of year.

Unfortunately, I'm at the wrong end of the country. A beautiful campground & park.
