First Run with 15B

Just finished our first run with the 15B since picking it up on April 1. It is a perfect size for the two of us. It was a great Memorial Day weekend in Hood River and we had resident Bald Eagles to keep us company visible from our site!

Looks like a great trip and the perfect Escape for you! We just took our new-to-us 17B out this weekend for the first time also, though we were boondocking in a large field for a dog event and had horrible weather. I love the interior finishes you chose in yours, looking at photos makes me want a new one but it'll be a few years!

Hillary, Thank you. There weren't any used when we made our decision to go with the 15B. The very best thing we did was have Escape break up the table into 3 pieces. We will be doing more boon docking later this year.

Just looked at your delivery album and I love the table mod, that makes a ton of sense with a 15B especially since you do have to make it up every day. We're heading up to the factory this week to get a bed extension, which makes sense for us with two dogs. Plus that way we get to see the factory, meet Tammy and Reace and ogle new trailers!

I meant to ask about the table pictured outside propped against the trailer, is that home made or one I can find and order somewhere?

Hillary, I made the table but ordered some parts from this location:

Camping Box Side Table Compact Camping Trailers Table Explorer Box

They will sell you the bracket and the leg. Mine screws into wood under the indent on the back. I had Escape add a piece there, but I think it is also where the bench support is. You will have to double check before drilling. There is a better picture on my Modifications section at the website.

Tim & Julie, what a great first trip! Nice pictures! How can you beat a flat, paved parking space with manicured lawn and a gorgeous river?! You are definitely off to a good start. Here's wishing you many more wonderful trips!
