I guess you don't want to try/use RV Life Pro... at the top of this window...

The RV Life Trip Wizard planner that Donna pointed out is a very useful tool in mapping out our trips. Some might find that it’s a little difficult to work with at first, but if you can get through the early learning curve it’s a good resource. We find campsites, gas stations, stores, restaurants, etc along whatever route we’re taking. We give it a thumbs up.

I agree on all fronts with this assessment.
In mid-October, I took a trip to Washington DC and Nag's Head NC (yes, it was my Wright brothers bucket list entry) and RV Life Pro was good at identifying campgrounds with reviews and links to their websites, and routes of various flavours within a comfortable day's drive for me.

It appears the RV Life trip planner requires a fee to use or is it free?

A free membership was offered to selected forum members several months ago. Perhaps you didn't have enough postings? Or perhaps it was only offered to campers who have refilled their propane tanks. Ha ha.
You may be able to get a membership by talking to one of the RV Life admins.

Well it seems you have to sign up and use a credit card and then cancel, never mind the hoops....

I’m pretty sure we didn’t do that for the free 2-year subscription. I could be wrong, but that doesn’t seem like something we would do either. Are you talking about the free demo??
We were told to log in to Trip Wizard using the same e-mail address and password as you use to sign in to this forum. Try that, it can’t hurt.

Darn, I was hoping to read about some 'planning websites' to get free trips.

I've used Furkot in the past for some motorcycle trips. I think they still have a free to use portion of tools. Might be enough for what you're after.
