Hardley camping. Finally!

Finally going to pick up our new 19' "Hardley".

I'm hitting the road to Chilliwack in about 5 minutes!

Looks like a lot of stuff but I was surprised to find out that it weighs less than 450lbs. Yes I actually weighed everything we're bringing.

This is gonna be great!

On the road

Hi Jim,
Seems like just yesterday. Have a great trip, easy does it. Keep your wheels tight and the road in sight. See you in the fall if not before.

Dang, I knew I'd forget something!
Oh wait, never mind, the hitch is waiting at ETI.

So far so good. Made it as far as Sioux Falls SD yesterday. Headed for Sheridan WY today, then to Missoula MT to stay with friends.

Wow! Congratulations! Nice packing too. As an extreme newbie travelling solo male, I am wondering if you would be willing to share your inventory list.
I have a growing pile of stuff that I am going to list and weigh and it would be nice to compare and contrast. JP

My edited list based off a Bennett list

Robert also made known his purchases but I don't have that bookmarked.

Hi: JPSpins... Put everything out you want to take. Then put half of it away and take the rest. Alf

We're just using the stuff from our little motorcycle tent trailer, plus a few things like Anderson levelers and X-chocks.

We used to have a list for the camper but we haven't used it in years. I'll have to try to put one together.

To be clear, I'm sure that list is going to expand (and the weight increase) once we really start using the 19.

Rain, snow and wind on the way to Missoula today, but at least the roads never got slippery.

On the way, I followed the advice of Iowa Dave and got a muffin from Wheat Montana Bakery and Deli. It's right off interstate 90 in Three Forks MT. I have to say I'm glad I did. Good stuff! I'd definitely recommend it.

Onward to Seattle tomorrow.

As you head through Eastern and Central Washington stay tuned for flooding alerts - quite a few roads are closed as we have had rapid snow melt.

Thanks, I've been keeping an eye on your weather for weeks in anticipation.

Good idea Mary, but it won't work for me. I have to pick up Katrina (my wife) at SeaTac late Thursday night.
