If you’ve traveled the west and been lucky enough to have happened upon a regional small town rodeo you’ll not soon forget the vibrancy and enthusiasm the residents show. Their local pride and willingness to teach and involve young people are indeed refreshing. For this reason I have linked the page regarding the rodeo, parade, car show, street dance and good times to be experienced in Hulett Wyoming, not far from Devils Tower National monument.
Don’t pass up a good rodeo and a town with a 74th annual event probably knows what they are doing. There are still a lot of real cowboys, meet some. Stop in Sheridan and get yourself a pair of Elkskin roping gloves at King Ropes and check out Dan’s Western Wear next door. There are no pockets on a casket.
