Kansas to Rhode Island

In the Fall we're planning on a 3-week trip to Rhode Island, visiting family and friends. We want to use Harvest Host locations on the way there. There are lots of options with HH and looks like fun.

My question . . . is there a database of service centers and/or RV locations where you can dump sewage and grey water tanks. None of the HH locations, or our friends/family sites have dump facilities nearby (that I'm aware of).

With just two of us traveling, I think we can easily go 5 days or so between dumping tanks as long as we are really conservative with our water use.

I was just looking for an overnight stop at Cabela's in Hamburg Pa. On the website they mention a dump station. You can check and see if others do too or you could use that one on your way to Rhode Island

Glen Baglo’s reference is good. Also some states have dump stations at interstate
Rest stops ( Iowa has 22). (No fee). Some state and county parks will let you dump for a fee some will not. Some city parks have dump stations or hookups because they are on the city sewer system.
Just my experience.

Also, we use Allstays app to find places to dump.

Many campgrounds will let you dump for a small fee. If your family will let you empty your waste in a 5 gal bucket(do 4 gal at a time to avoid sloshing accidents) and dump it in their toilet. Turn on the fan in the bathroom while you do it to avoid odors. I often do this at home after a trip with no dump station or when guests use the camper as a guest room at home.

Some municipal wastewater plants will have dump stations or other facilities.

KOA's used to allow dump for around $10 and they are everywhere. Most campgrounds will let you use the dump for a fee.
