For those travelers who are interested in problem-solving and information technology, this is especially good.
For those of us in Canada, and particularly those with a relaxed "just find a route that's good enough" attitude (no points of interest considered), there is a simple solution to the all-provinces routing:
- Start at one side of the country
- Drive the Trans-Canada Highway (T-C) to the other side
- If circle route desired, turn around and go back on alternate T-C path
There's a 177 km (110 mi) ferry ride in there.
Hitting the territories as well is a considerably greater challenge, both for routing and for driving.
