Ours is 3-way also. 2021 21NE. I assumed it was a standard thing on all Escapes. 🤔

Yes our bath light is 3 way. I have since “discovered” that.

On the cold weather front, another thing is we have no outside shower. Our Bigfoot had one that was mostly okay, but froze one. Fortunately it did no damage.

Well I got a message my mom had to go to the hospital with kidney failing. So we are headed directly there now and should pull in this afternoon for what may be an extended stay. We’ll see when we know more.

Thanks. We have a place to camp there for the next nine days now. Dad says we can’t see her. The hospital won’t allow. She is not doing well, and neither is he. He has Parkinson’s. We were planning on being there anyway, just not this way, or quite yet. We are a couple of hours away still.

The news is better this evening than it was this afternoon. She is still in ICU, but responded some this evening and ate a little for the first time in a long time.

Kidney function dropped. She’s been moved to an ICU 60 miles away. We’ll be driving dad back and forth each day. He’s the only one who can go in to see her. We got a FHU site on a weekly rate until we sort things out.

Nephew and heart attack recovery not going well yet. Mom had a better day. They are now thinking rehab is more likely than hospice. Barb is flying home next week, I’m staying for at least a month.

Mom is showing continued, but very slow progress. Nephew is not doing well. Dad did not want to make the 120 mile round trip today in the rain to see mom. Since only one a day is allowed in, I got to see her. It was a joyful surprise for her and nice for me to see her.

If all continues to improve, mom will move from ICU to the hospital rehab wing next week. My nephew continues to spiral down. Barb’s flights are set, and I have a site for the next month here. Dad’s surgery is still on schedule. Mostly good news.

Update:

Barb flys home in the morning to take care of things since we planned on being home Dec 2nd. She will fly back shortly before Christmas.

My nephew had a tracheotomy so they can get him off the ventilator and reduce his sedation. It’s progress, but still not what we hope.

My mom continues to improve, and is expected to go to a rehab facility for 6 weeks. The facility is only 10 miles from here instead of the 60 now we drive. That will be much easier on dad. The plan is to try to move her Thursday.

My long term spot is noisy by a busy Highway, but I’m sure I’ll tune it out soon.

Thanks for all of your concern and prayers.
