Repaving projects on I5 in Seattle

All I know is what this article says, but thought I'd give a heads up for those coming through Seattle to get their trailer. Basically, it'll booger up traffic and there probably won't be any way around it. 405 is already overcrowded.

I-5 repaving starts this week: 3 years, 22 miles, ‘some rough commutes’ | The Seattle Times

Oh joy!

But oh, does it need it! Especially when you are towing a trailer through Seattle on I5.

It is amazing: if speeds are held to 5-10 mph, the pavement can last 50 years, like I-5 Seattle.

Thanks for the heads-up, Laura. We're leaving Sunday to pick up our 5.0 on Monday. Since the article says that "initially" work will be in the evenings/nighttime, we should be able to avoid the whole thing. Since we're moving to Tucson, AZ in the next month or two, I-5 will be part of my past.
