RV parks near I84 -Idaho
Help me track down a scenic and preferably spacious spot to camp for a few nights in Idaho. Preferably within 30 minutes of interstate 84. I’d love to find a spot with big spaces and prefer smaller parks vs a KOA.

If you're up for boondocking this is scenic, and real nice if you have a kayak.

If you have kids (or are a kid at heart) the water park nearby is a lot of fun.
The KOA is also on the river so its nice to get a spot on the river bank, this is a picture out our back window

The sounds of the trains across the way was like music to my ears, I grew up near railroad track sounds and it reminded me of years ago......

Smallish, clean, friendly, nicely maintained RV park just outside of Twin Falls: https://www.twinfalls93rv.com/
Stayed there about a year ago on way home from Southern Utah.

Heyburn Riverside RV Park, east of Twin Falls and not too far off 84. Small, well maintained city-owned park right on the Snake River. Inexpensive, had a very nice host, we stopped there on our way back to Texas after picking up last year.

Lake Wolcott a little ways outside Rupert is quite nice as is massacre rocks near American Falls. A longer journey at the Declo exit is to city of the rocks. Nice cg & incredible scenery.

Three Island Crossing State Park
It is off the Snake and just a few minutes off I-84 at Glenns Ferry. A few days? Probably not. But a quick overnighter on your way to places off the Interstate, sure.
State park and kind of expensive. Best attribute is, it is close to the highway. They have a pool too (I think).
