RV Sites from Vancouver to Oregon Coast

We will be travelling to Oregon coast from Vancouver BC. There ar lots of sites on the Oregon coast; however, any recommendation for one or two days travelling from Vancouver to the Oregon coast?

Thanks

I remember some nice camping spots along the coastline on Olympic Peninsula and southern Washington coast, but it's been a decade + so it's hard to know what's still there. Not overly useful I know...

We stayed at a KOA near Castle Rock once - the location is good but I have nothing positive to say about the campground itself. If you make it to Astoria the Fort Stevens state park is one of our favorites.

Once you get south of Astoria, Oregon consider Nehalem Bay. Can rent a kayak there and paddle around, too. Our favorite runaway from the Portland area. https://stateparks.oregon.gov/index....ile&parkId=142

I'll second Nehalem Bay / Manzanita. It is a beautiful and very long stretch of beach. The campground also has a section for people with horses, and you may see people riding horses on the beach. Very nice campground. Lots of spaces, but well spaced.
If you are in that area camping or not, a MUST stop is "Yolk" for breakfast. My wife and I are not necessarily breakfast people, but even we have to admit that the French toast they serve here is like nothing we have ever tried and well worth it. Everything else they prepared looked good too.

Try Cape Disappointment state park across from Astoria - gorgeous and quiet and lots of history. We just returned from our annual January two-week visit. Always packed in summer though.

I forgot to mention that Canon Beach is very popular and beautiful as well. You can spend a nice day or two strolling along the shops there to enjoy a little in-town time away from the beach. The Driftwood Restaurant there was pretty good and we would go back. Not as good as Yolk in Manzanita, of which there are times where I seriously consider getting up at 6AM and taking a two hour drive there just for French toast. But Canon beach is well worth considering if you can get a spot there.

If you need a breakfast for a second day, I highly recommend Wanda's in Nehalem. It's a favorite of the NOG crowd. https://wandascafe.com/

And buy their t-shirt that says "Disappointment Awaits". I certainly did.

The Sedro-Woolley, WA city RV park is a good location to use as a base camp if you have time to tour the Skagit County area.

I like that area. I considered moving there when I retired, but I went back home to Florida instead.

There’s a very sweet little state park (Illahee SP) tucked in Bremerton WA. (If you stay there, eat at Evergreen Pizza and tell the owner, Manu Alfau, that I sent you.)

We also enjoyed Ebey’s landing, on Whidbey Island, WA (south of Deception Pass). It was an easy Ferry from Whidbey to Port Townsend, to get to Bremerton.

For places between the Oregon coast and Vancouver, we've stayed at Sequest SP near Mt. St. Helens a few times and also stayed at Stubb Stewart SP just west of Portland.

Stubb is one of the nicest campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I second Manzanita.
We love it.
From the state park you walk down the beach into town, nice.

Washington coast

Olympic peninsula has camping and Cape Disappointment on the south west tip of Washington state, must have reservations, it's very popular.
