Travel tales

Since I so enjoy everyone's travel commentaries, thought I would start one & hope others will join the conversation. I tent camped for too many years then upon retirement purchased a 16' scamp. During those 4 years traveled to lots of amazing places including (NV) angel lake, lamoille cyn, duck valley, cathedral gorge, valley of fire, pahranagat, red rock canyon...then cali--Death Valley, Mohave preserve, Anzac borrego then Utah....lake Powell, goblin valley, Kodachrome basin....Idaho --Stanley lake, marsh creek, Edna creek, heyburn sp, Powell cg (lochsa), Thatcher creek, south hills/rock creek, casino creek, bruneau sand dunes...Oregon --ll Stubbs, beachside, idlewild, chickahominy.

Many I have missed But since picking up new escape on 2/28/17...ely nv, cathedral gorge, valley of fire, lake mead rec area, snow can Utah, quail creek sp, big water Utah, sand island cg Utah, Moab/horse thief blm cg, clover springs cg Utah, jackpot nv, Great Basin np, Sacramento pass, Ruby lake marsh, weiser old time fiddlers contest, petit lake Idaho, south hills Idaho

Now planning trip to prairie creek Idaho, hermit fest in kuna, Yellowstone. Then planning for winter including Anzac borrego, salty sea, Death Valley. We shall see. Of course I could elaborate on each of these trips but the incredible part was meeting nice people & the scenery.
Thanks for listening & hope this can be a post for people describing their adventures.
Jules

Disappointed no responses with your travel tales but maybe each person likes to post individually. Anyhoo....Prairie Creek which is north of Ketchum ID is a great dry camping spot, lots of hikes in the area as well as many other free camping spots along the Wood River.
Am looking forward to a September YNP trip.

That's probably true and it's easier to search for specific posts about places. Threads get mixed up with OT stuff fast enough as it is.

Yup, solar panels, don't leave home without them.

We have always found the scenery in northern Idaho to be one of the prettiest during our cross country trips to attend the rally in Osoyoos. The lakes and trees and vistas are all awe inspiring.
