Ventura-US 101 closed-Fire

Dec. 26- US 101 is closed north of Ventura, CA (northwest of Los Angeles) due to a brush fire. Emma Wood and Solimar Beach campgrounds are closed, with mandatory evacuations.
There is also a high wind warning until midday Sunday.
If you're headed north from the Los Angeles area, I-5 is your route, however, there was a solid freeze at higher elevations. Frazier Park (at 5030 ft. elev., I-5 near Tejon Pass) is 29°F at 0830 hrs. Light snow forecast for Sunday nt. & Monday. (Yes, even So. Calif., can get a white Xmas-time.)

That's a great drive, 101 south from the Bay Area. Whenever we go to SoCal, and have an straight hour, we always drive by your neighborhood. Hope You are Safe!
