Based on what we’ve read ,we are setting our sights on the Mississippi River Rendevous in late September 2021 . Any camping between now and then will be short trips with just my wife , myself and our dog in attendance
This week is firearm deer hunting season in Wisconsin and the way the bars are packed it’s going to be a long road back to normal .

Like Steve we're hoping for the Mississippi River Rendezvous next year too, IF we may cross the border. Before that though hope to camp locally in the summer. And even before that since we can't go south in the winter we're looking at the Osoyoos area for March.

Jeffrey, having your daughter far off is not great. When we retired seven years ago we wanted to be close to family, one is in the US so that's out but our boys and families are in Canada. We moved to the same small town as our eldest son and family of four kids which is great. So unless you have a big attachment to Farmington Hills you could always move for easier access to your children and families. Mind you having four means they could be spread across the country.

We are looking forward to our first rally in 2021. Osoyoos in May is high on our priority list. Of course that is subject to 1) it's happening 2) the border is open 3) we are building a home and they have moved our completion date out to April /May

"Ordered an ETI trailer, but dismayed to get a 2022 delivery date"
and so ends my dream of owning an ETI.
2022 just is not a viable option. Oh well.....

That's unfortunate, obviously they can only turn out so many.

For the old timers, imaging the wait time if Reace hadn't done the expansion.

I understand your decision, hopefully you can find what you want and need in a reasonable period of time . Longer lead times are often the result of success and high demand .

Definitely worth putting in the effort to keep searching for a used. Sometimes they are even nicer than straight from the factory because Escape owners love their trailer and often improve it even more.
