Several nights at Davis Camp, Bullhead City, AZ.

Two days at Canyon De Chelly, AZ

Two nights at Monument Valley, AZ

Three nights at Lees Ferry AZ

Three nights boondocking near Vermilion Cliffs NM

Several nights in Kanab, UT

Two days at Sand Hollow State Park, UT

Continuing on since the limit is 8 pictures per post:

Four nights at Valley of Fire, NV

One night on the return trip at Pahranagat Lake NV

Finally one night on the way home at Walker Lake, NV. Note there is less snow than on the way down, but not much in either shot.

Thanks.

It's sad when a retired photographer shoots with an iPhone 'cause he's too lazy to get out his camera. But, here is our campsite at Qualicum First Nation Campground on Vancouver Island.

back window

A year or so ago we saw a bob cat come up to our house back windows, they go down to the floor. The cat looked in and our small dog looked out, nose to nose for about a minute, no noise from either one and then the cat just wandered off into our back porch area. Not wanting this to be frequent I called the university to ask what to do next time, and they said to go out another door and spray the cat with water. Didn't see another one since then inside our fenced area. We also have mountain lions here but I'm not going outside to chase one away.

Yeah, Bobcats are one thing -- Mountain Lions are another. Have a relative who was hunting on horseback several years ago in Colorado and was jumped by a Mountain Lion. He was really cut up, but he lived.
