i have this place bookmarked. It looks like seasonal closures for the Mesquite Campground are from Monday, November 4, 2019 through Wednesday, April 1, 2020. And the Eastside Campgrounds and Eastside Shoreline Area are closed from Monday, September 30, 2019 through Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
You must have been camping at the Mesquite Campground?

I think David stayed at Mesquite. We stayed on the west shore. There is access at the parking area on top of the boat ramp. Park anywhere you like once you are down the hill.

Crystal Cove State Park Laguna Beach California. December that's right December 11. 70 Degrees Daytime 50 Degrees Nighttime. If you look closely you can see Santa Catalina Island in the sunset picture. We also saw some whales spouting offshore.

Beautiful Jon ! Reminds me to take pictures when you see a sunset like that at the time . Last year at Quartzite, the first night looked beautiful but we were tired and thought , we’ll get camera shots the next nights . Well the sunset like that didn’t happen again while we were there . Lesson learned . Pat
Well, not sure you'll understand, but - here is what is out my FRONT window, right now. And though it may not look like much, it's a Very Happy View, for me.
My 17B is happily in its winter "house" on my place here in New Hampshire. I can pop outside any ol' time, fire up the furnace, open the rock shield, and - voila! - this is my view.
All smiles, here
