Another 19 going to Alberta!

It looks like our 19' also going to Alberta will be released the day after "Sawdusty's". We first learned about Escape's camping in Mt. Rainier 3 years ago and our neighbouring camper had just picked up a new Escape and was proudly camping her way back to Maine. Took a while to make the decision but as of yesterday we are in.

Our customization so far includes these options:
2-Way Hot Water Tank
Microwave in cabinet above fridge
Winterizing T Valve
Dual 6V batteries
Removable Power Cord
LED Captain Reading Lamps (2)
Air Conditioner
Wireless Back Up Camera
Extra Insulation & Thermal Windows
Opening Window in Kitchen
TV/Cable Ready
Storage Box at front of Trailer
Bench Seat Convert to U Shaped Dinette
Solar Port
Equalizer Hitch

I am unsure about the dual 6V versus 12V battery as we don't normally camp in one place without services for more than two days. The other things I am thinking about adding are the surge protector and power tongue jack. I see there was lots of discussion about windows in other posts. We definitely want the opening window in the kitchen but had thought that an opening window in the bathroom wouldn't be that useful. Any thoughts?

Wow! Doug, is it contagious, that escape fever? No one safe around. Calgary?
Congratulations!!!
You are right on the bathroom window. We had quite a show in Osoyoos, our neighbors taking a shower at night....
Surge protector: YES!!! You don't want to get your appliances ruined.
Have fun filling out the build sheet!!! Took us a while...

A couple years ago we bought a really nice window curtain from little house custom for the bath. It just required loosing the top screws and slipping the top in . It is a material that is for the bath . Pat

Regards from Calgary

Congratulations on ordering your 19" Escape Trailer. I see that you are going to pick up your trailer about the same time as we are & it looks like you have many of the same options selected as we do.
We didn't get the microwave (instead got a larger fridge) but my daughter who has 3 children says she couldn't live without her microwave. We got the foot flush toilet and the toilet shut off valve which seemed worth while. The Power Tongue Jack makes it easy to level front to back and I'm too old for manual cranking.
Extra spray foam insulation, thermal windows & under trailer insulation were my wife's requirements but seem like a good idea in Canada.
Good Luck on your purchase.
