any pics of Silver Quartzite?

When I search here for Quartzite, I only find posts for Quartzsite (which folks misspell). And searching for "silver" has not yielded fruit (other than images with Silver Shalestone). Does anyone have a picture to share of Silver Quartzite formica in their Escape? I know it has a repeating pattern that could possibly be problematic, but there's nothing like seeing it on a table or countertop to put things in perspective. TIA.

I received my sample package in the mail yesterday. My build date supposedly is in August 2023. I have plenty of time to agonize and torture myself over which colors to join with the oak cabinets....

Quartzite is not a misspelling, it is the name of a city in Arizona where many go to boondock.

Been there often. Quartzsite is a (correctly spelled) town in La Paz County, Arizona, United States. Known for its rocks and is very RV friendly. According to the 2010 census, the population was 3,677.

My mistake on the Shalestone, it is still one of the regular options. I edited my original post.

Still would like to see some Silver Quartzite.

To add to your agony and torture (, haha) for $180 you can select a counter/table top from Formica’s website with a “-58” texture. Look in the “Residential” area. For $88 more, you can choose from higher end textures. That’s lots and lots and LOTS of colors and patterns to pick from.

That's very helpful, thank you! With what appears to be Havana Tobacco flooring, too; that is one of the two vinyls I'm strongly considering (the other is Colorado Canyon). And your dark brown cushions aren't too far off from Tenacity Harvest (I'm debating between that and Summit Ash). So your photo is really a good indicator for me.

I am surprised at how large and prominent those "mineral lines" appear in your counter extension. At least now I have a sense of scale for this formica's pattern and how often it may repeat on the dinette table.

You can also go to Formica.com, then search for your Formica choice, then click on the small pic for a much larger view of that product.

Yeah, I had already done that, but it just wasn't the same as seeing it in an Escape. Now that I have, actually I've decided against it.

I have pretty well settled on picking one of these two combos: either silver shalestone with summit ash fabric, or mineral jet with tenacity harvest fabric. All with oak cabinets and Colorado Canyon flooring.

Funny story: my first exposure to the existence of Formica was when I was about 6 years old. One day when Dad came home I thought I heard him say to Mom, "I got, for Michael..." I came running and asked, "What's for me?" Was I ever disappointed when they explained that he'd actually said, "I got the Formica." My parents were in the process of completing the kitchen in our house.
