Build sheet 21' almost there

This is showing posted twice but I can only get to one post. If someone tells me they can access both posts, I will delete one if I can.


Here is the build sheet coming to the finish:


Standard axles --- We are omitting EZ lube axles and paying $100 to have standard. We have bearings re-packed and we won't be shooting any grease in there and do not want someone else to either.
Two-way hot water tank
LED indicator switch for HW tank
Two-burner stainless steel stove and range hood
Three more 12V outlets
Two more 120V outlets
One additional 120 V exterior outlet (thanks ModJim)
A/C
Digital thermostat
Bike rack ready
Dual 6-volt batteries
Exterior shower
Toilet shut-off valve
Exterior access hatch --- Does anyone have this and know exactly what it accesses because we are not sure about that but want it.
Extra insulation and thermal windows
Inverter 1500 for microwave and transfer switch/all outlets
Interior LED light package
Two LED exterior lights
Additional lights we are supplying for front and back --- been in too many dark deep woods areas and we use clothesline on rear at night and want to see in front for going to the TV and also not hitting the coupler or ball mount
Maxxfan with remote, smoke
Microwave
Opening window in bath for cleaning wand that we use, oh, once a year at least!
White belly band
One propane tank filled
150W solar panel
2-12v heat pads with spray foam insulation
Stainless steel sink and chrome faucet --- looking at another sink and faucet but do not know where we can get them in BC -- already paid more postage than we would like to send items
Pre-wire for stereo
Not getting cubbies yet. Still looking at that. Want space next to bath for shoes. Want shelf space above bed but the cubbies there look great.

Custom formica, medium gray, with black trim
Custom fabric near black, very dark gray with tiny gray pinstripes. Love Mary's and many of the striped ones but decided to do plain. Took a tip from someone on Fiberglassrv saying to use solids and then for a change, do different pillows and curtains. If we do curtains now though, will probably use same fabric this time. Sunbrella for moisture. Also wanted colors the opposite of the standard brown, gold, tan in our 19' so doing grays and blacks.

Custom flooring --- getting your flooring, Hugh! Light gray and white wood plank design. We will have to compare trailers some day.
Convert bench seat to U-shaped dinette
Reinforce wall 6 between bath and bed. We may have low shelf and hooks in bath and possibly another flip-up table at bed near bath.
Two flip-up tables (counter extensions) at dinette
Four stabilizer pads
Winterizing t-valve
Additional door under bed on corner, hinged on right (standard one is hinged on left)
Additional grab handle, forward side, inside entry. (May add grab handle in bath)
Having own table legs and bases installed
Looking at other graphics. Don't know what we are doing on that right now.

So looking at sinks and faucets and graphics to finish up shortly.

I always thought the EZ lube were an option I'll have to look into that bc I don't want EZ lube.

I think the bike rack is standard.
As is the outside access door on the driver side front.
Stainless steel is nice
Considered the second door to the under bed storage, seems to work pretty good without. The outside hatch to that area is large enough to get our foldable lawn chairs and a bag chair through the opening. The problem with any inside door to access the area under the permanent bed is, the water lines run through there and it will always have a lip that you have to lift over.
Grab bars are good

Hi, Paul,
They are charging us $75 for the bike rack ready on our build sheet. Maybe it is a newer charge.

We want the additional outside hatch which we thought is driver's rear at dinette but not sure exactly where.

We figure the extra bed door will give us more access. We do not want to lift the mattress so hoping the doors will be enough.

Can't decide on the cubbies because they cut out space also.
Like the looks of them.

Bike Rack Ready (2″ Receiver)

This implies that it should be standard - no additional cost - equipment. Seems worth asking about to me...

Bike rack ready is on our Build sheet as an option ($75). Maybe the "features" are for 2016 builds, as the website's base price of the trailer is a little higher than my build sheet, too.

Ah, good catch Mary. There's no year shown on the web page, but of course it would be targeted for people who are shopping now (so 2016 pricing and delivery), not those who have already purchased.

It likely makes more economic sense to spec all frames with the "bike rack ready" feature rather than order as needed.

Drivers side access door under the dinette doesn't make a lot of sense to me as that's where the furnace and EMS controller is located on the sides of the seat support framing. Easy to access from inside with the flip-up plywood seat - that's where we store our vacuum and 12V fan.

Second access door is under the dinette, I see, from their site. Wonder if anyone has it? Our 19' had extra electrical cord which we often used and tire covers and some other things and that second hatch would be great access for us. In addition, the door was next to the bench in our 19'. Now the bench is at the other end of the trailer so we would have to go through if raining or muddy to get any exterior items that we want there. We liked our 19' set-up and we want whatever we can keep from that.

Paul has a 21' and apparently did not pay for bike rack ready. Did others with a 21' pay for it who have it?

Paid for bike rack ready; if they moved the heater then there is more usable storage under driver's side dinette, but I still wouldn't have an outside access. The standard access under the bed is very functional and we shove large items such as tall fold up chairs & roll up mats under the bed from outside.

Not sure why you would want to pay to omit EZ lube. I was beginning to think I wasted $100 to get them however my mechanic says they're great. To each their own of course.

We have no use for EZ Lube. The seals are not checked or replaced by pumping in grease. We also hear you can pump grease right past them and that would be bad.

But, can't you just continue to have the bearings checked and repacked?

Yes they can be manually packed.
