Does it matter?

Oak, maple...both lighter colored deciduous tree woods. Does it really matter to what you want to enjoy? If so, do so.

Hi Tom
We had Hickory cabinets in a previous home. They were all wood and very nice.

You can pretty easily do peel and stick tile on the vinyl behind the stove and sink which I think looks pretty nice! I like the maple but I agree it did look unfinished to me without the backsplash. The tile back wall fixed that though!

Your kitchen area looks beautiful, and love the open look without the range hood. Did you take it out yourself or did ETI deliver it that way?

I picked oak in part because of those acrylic panels in maple. But it is a matter of taste like everything else.

Thanks! We previously had a Casita and they would not let you order the trailer without the range hood, but we removed it after about a year and really liked how it visually opened up the space. Thankfully ETI allows you to order the trailer without the range hood so we ordered it without. It's so easy to open the kitchen window and the Maxair fan overhead or the door to get adequate ventilation while the stove is on.
