Cot ready
We are considering getting the cot ready option just in case we have some grandchildren traveling with us some day. I assume this can't be added later. Do many people order this and do the brackets get in the way in the dinette area at all?

No, the brackets do not get in the way.

On our unit the cot ready consisted of several wood blocks glassed into the wall. They can be seen with the proper amount of squinting and head turning but other wise are invisible. Their sole purpose appears to be to provide mounting points for the cot. They would be quite difficult to add after the fact as they are under the wall covering.

So the cot ready option is just the reinforcement blocks, not the cot brackets themselves.
Thanks,

Whether Escape will install the blocks and not sell the cot is something you may need to ask them. Normally the entire package includes the wooden blocks and the cot.

They gave us a price of $50 for the cot ready option. I will ask them what that includes.

Just out of curiosity, how many pounds does the cot hold?
