We (more accurately my wife) have decided to pay for the AC and I expect it won't see use most years.
We generally don't have hook ups.
Currently we don't enter the USA and the way things have been going it doesn't look like it will be an option for a while.
We have survived thus far in Canada, Including the Kelowna/Valley area of BC in mid 30s C in our pop up, and the same weather in Manitoba.
I tried arguing for adding AC later if we need it but was overruled
