Escape 23 floorplans

Escape has a new video on their website about the 23. Two floorplans have been selected -- the walk around bed and twin beds. The beds are in the front of the trailer which I know a lot of people like, but I like the bed in the back the way it is in our 19. I also don't like the kitchen table. We were playing around with the idea of getting a bigger trailer with a bed that was open at least on two sides, but I think we'll be staying with our 19.

Besides which, the way thing are right now, I don't know when we'll be camping again.

Yep I saw that, and am eagerly awaiting the final floorplan (they said there may be some minor changes still), pricing, and options. He did mention $40k as a base price, which means I'm looking at a $50k trailer with all the options I'd like, which does give me pause...

In 6 days we will know more!

If I wanted to pull 2 feet more I would love it. I am glad it was not around when we were looking. Great looking trailer Escape.

Probably not worth the upgrade if you've already got a 21...but for me, the 23 is still a significant downsize from my rig that I just sold, which was a 30' Arctic Fox. With this one I'll be cutting 7 feet in length and 2 feet in height!

The walk around bed just takes a lot of room. If I do ever upgrade from my e19 I'm not going over 21, many national and state forest parks have few spots for larger trailers. I'll probably go with a Bigfoot 21 rear bed, having a layout a lot like Escape 21 with a wider body. That's one of the things I also miss in my e19, it's to narrow, should have been changed when it was redesigned, IMHO.

Agreed on the bed, I was intrigued by the murphy bed option they floated, but apparently is not in the cards for now...
