ETI changed their policy regarding custom sinks

Hi,
This is just to let anyone who is thinking about ordering a custom sink know that ETI has a new policy regarding them. I was thinking about ordering a custom sink for our upcoming 21, knew the dimensions that they would allow, and had two particular sinks in mind, -both of which were successfully installed by ETI and reported on in the forum. One of them was the one that they just installed in Laura's trailer which they just finished last week. I wanted a sink that was deeper so that I can wash larger things and occasionally bathe my small dog who is a real digger. I am so glad that I double-checked with ETI yesterday before ordering! Today I got this email from Sarah at ETI.
"Unfortunately, we are no longer able to install sinks with the additional tap mount ledge on the back. If you can find a similar sink without the lip for mounting the taps it should work."
I emailed her back questioning more about this new policy and she answered, "Although we have installed these “tap mount ledge” sinks in the past we are no longer offering the installation of these particular types of sinks."
So, back to the sink drawing board...

This is a super bummer. So glad you posted that here, Lisa.

Yep, always a good idea to double check with ETI.

Bummer, as the black sink is very nice looking.

One can always swap the sink out themselves later. It is not too tough at all. If you do lack the knowledge and tools, you can just ask a contractor type friend.

I am just getting Escape to do the rough-ins, and I will install my own sink and tap.
