Filler cushion for Escape 19
After much back and forth, I've finally decided to go with the standard dinette on my upcoming Escape 19. I also want to add a filler cushion that I can use to stretch my legs in lounge mode with the table up. I am getting a Springfield pedestal. For those of you who have this combination, what size filler cushion would cover the space between the pedestal and the back wall?

That depends on your table top size. The stock table with the stock benches fills the entire insert when dropped to make a bed.
Are you talking about making the table smaller and using a filler board across the back? If so, the filler would be the same size as the amount of depth you remove from the table.
Or, you can add a filler board and corresponding cushion of whatever size you want, keep the full length stock table, and just remove the filler when you need to drop the table. In that scenario, remember that the pedestal is basically centered front to back, so as long as the filler board is narrow enough to fit between the pedestal and wall, it would work.
I don't really see the utility of a filler however with the table in place. Maybe just something to prop your feet on while seated?

I understood the OP needed a measurement from the back wall to the pedestal. Can't use too big of a board/cushion or the pedestal would be in the way, but wants one as wide as possible...

Yeah, I was editing as you posted Donna. Not really sure of the measurements, but it doesn't really need to be exact. I should think less than 18" would work.

Our 19 measures 19 inches from front wall to front of the Springfield pedestal, measured at bench height.
As ETI installs these individually at orientation (the pedestals), there might be some minor variation even with exact same equipment installed.

Thanks for all for the responses. Scott, those are the measurements I needed. It should work then at 18" wide. I am also thinking of making two cushions to fit the filler board instead of one continuous piece. I can then also use each individual cushion as a back cushion on each side of the dinette.

Note that you can buy extra factory material if you want it to match. I will be doing my own U shape dinette which will involve a removable cushion and tilting back so we can lounge against a seat back that is not vertical.

Yes, I am getting custom fabric and have allowed extra for the cushion. Now I just need to figure out if my idea of a split cushion will work. I am going up to Chilliwack soon and will take further measurements.

You'll have leftover fabric if you go with custom upholstery. We used some of the extra fabric to make a couple 2 foot long tubular pillows for lower back bolsters. They work well.
