Finalizing build sheet on 17B

Hello,

We are going to ETI tomorrow to finalize our options on our 17B. We have narrowed down the options as follows.

Dual 6 Volt batteries
Surge protector
Solar panel
Care free awning
Extra insulation (still not decided on windows) probably goings with thermal sliders
2 way hot water tank
Storage box
Opening kitchen window
Permanent double bed ( with enclosure which will move electronics to front of trailer)
Delete wardrobe and extend bench seat

We are considering adding A/C and still confused and unsure on window style. We want thermal but my understanding is that with sliders not all can be thermal? Also does it make sense to do inverter at time of build or can it be added easily at some point in future? If anyone has any tips or advice and wouldn’t mind taking the time to share we would be very greatful!

After being away for a week without hook ups in our 17b, I would recommend deleting the bathroom sink if you are going to be showering regularly in the bathroom. It is an extremely small space and the sink takes up way too much room.

We have AC and although not used a lot it is so nice to have when needed and also helps resale value. Your other options all sound good.

When brushing teeth or washing my face my wife will not let me use her kitchen sink so we absolutely need the bath room sink.
