In the market for a 5.0 TA with questions

I like the layout of the 5.0 deluxe but I'm curious about the shower. The floorplan labels it as a wet shower yet in some posts I've seen make reference to a shower curtain which would indicate that the entire bathroom does not get wet. So which is it?

What are the dimensions of the actual shower area assuming it is separate?

Curtain protects wooden door from getting wet and keeps water inside. Whole shower gets wet.

Welcome Gary,
to our little Escape world. If you contact the Escape factory, they can put you in touch with an Escape owner near you, so that you can see an Escape in person.

You can put a large garbage bag over the toilet to keep it dry and use a squeegee and sponge to wipe down the walls. Takes a minute and cleans the bathroom at the same time.

We previously had a small traditional fifth wheel with a dry bath - separate shower area. Initially I had a hard time adapting to the idea of the wet bath where, when you use the shower, the whole room including the toilet gets wet. But once we got our trailer, in practice I found that I like the wet bath better. The fiberglass enclosure is bulletproof as far as water, no worries about water getting on things where it could cause damage. The shower curtain just slides over and covers the door opening when showering - the bathroom door is mounted on the outside of that wall and is just for privacy, not water protection.

If you have never used a wet bath, at first it feels weird to have water splashing on the toilet when you shower. But we used to wipe down the shower area with a towel in our old trailer after showering, and it really doesn't take any longer in the wet bath...and the toilet exterior gets rinsed off when you shower so it stays very clean.
