Initial Email Following Deposit

Hi all,

I deposited on the Escape website. I received an automated email that said I'd receive an email from an Escape team member within 5 business days. I didn't. So, my question is, what has been your experience? I wrote the accounting department just to make sure my deposit was received, and my production slot secured, but I haven't received a response to that email either.

I wouldn't think much of it given how far out delivery dates currently are, but the automated email was very specific...5 business days.

Anyway, thanks for any insights on your experience.

It took two business days earlier this year. I placed our deposit on January 10th of this year and received the email from Escape sales with our order confirmation and completion date on January 12th.

My 5.0 deposit was deducted from my checking account 3/21/22. Received and email on 3/24/22 that went over the timeline and completion date and approximately when the configuration specialist would reach out to me. There was also a reference number and I for on how to obtain swatches, a list of videos to watch to familiarize myself with Escape’s process. I’ve since received an email asking if I’d be willing to bump up my completion date.

Before I sent the deposit, I called and left a message because I had a few questions, but never received a call back.

Wow...makes me wonder if my Sunday deposit was overlooked. The automated email says very definitively, "One of our team members will reach out to you via email within 5 business days," and "within 5 business days" is bolded and italicized. It doesn't help that I haven't received a response to my own follow-up email from Friday. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Sorry for all the typos in previous response. I would check you bank account to see when your deposit went through. If it’s been deducted from your account five or more days ago, I’d give them another call, and if you don’t get a live person (you can’t get a live one anywhere these days!), I’d leave another message saying it “urgent” or something to that effect.

We put our deposit down Sept 2019. The wait was only 4 months at that point. All emails were answered within 24 hours.

Today, the wait is more than 2 years, If their automated response is 5 days, you might expect 3 but they say 5 just in case. We were super happy with our experience.

I always prefer calling and speaking to someone in person over sending an email to see if they received an email.

The world of electronic communication does have some strange glitches.

Everyone’s experience is different - obviously, but thus far we’ve always had rapid responses from Escape from our deposit through our current near delivery stage. Voke, Melisa, Sharon, Alicia, Nicolas, Marilyn, and others have been exceptional in our opinion. Most replies have been within the day, if not the hour for us.

Yes, the change in ownership - and exponential increase in sales, pandemic, supply shortages, labor issues, etc - means Escape the company is not the same as it used to be, but Escape the people have been everything we hoped they would be and more - at least the ones we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.

Just our two cents. YMMV - obviously.

Check your spam/junk folder because I think the deposit response comes from a different email. Also in beginning when I had a question, before I had a rep. I found when I email the customer service, I get a response the same day. We are due for completion of our 21C in September 22 moved up from Feb 23 so a year wait from deposit.

Thank you, and congrats on your 21C. I did check spam and it wasn't there. I finally received the email today. There was a couple of mix-ups apparently. I have a common name, and it is the same as another Escape customer. The Escape computer system apparently merged our 2 profiles...a little bizarre, but it happened to me once before at an RV Park and I got charged for another customer's stay! In any event, hopefully all is resolved now and I can look forward to the new 5.0.
