To mount my batteries, I took a couple 1" aluminum angles, screwed them to the floor with a half dozen #8x5/8" screws with just enough space between them for the two batteries, they each have a horizontal slot cut in the vertical portion, that I threaded a cargo strap through. 2 Batteries snugly fit betwen these two angle irons, strap over the top keeps them quite secure.

(I added a few more screws after this pic was taken, and no, I didn't put the fuse holders there)

Nice work, John. I may do the same, even though I discovered those 20.5” long batteries are actually Group 4D batteries, and you can purchase battery boxes for them. A battery tray would be ideal, and your aluminum angles basically make a tray.

I should have clarified, mine are the SOK 12V 206AH batts, not the 100AH.

Jon,
I noticed the silver sheets you placed against the wall in Your solar basement. Is that meant to insulate your solar equipment & lithium batteries?

yeah, that. when my 2014 was built, it had the 'extra insulation' package, I believe that is now standard. its a couple layers of reflectix and a layer of 1/4" or so thick neoprene foam. Mine also has the foam undercarriage insulation
