We love the oven, love not having to rely on electric hookups and still being able to bake. I use Airbake pans https://www.amazon.com/AirBake-Natur...s=airbake+pans like this one. I also have an airbake cookie sheet that I put under the non airbake pans. Works great!

Sorry Steve I must of been half asleep when I read your post and answered . We do love the oven and microwave though . As for that stove top toaster it sure does rust bad as you stated . A long time ago someone did make a stainless one but probably because of cost no longer .you just need to keep replacing the one you have . Pat

They do make a stainless steel toaster. The good - it makes more even toast than the Coleman toaster. The bad - only one slice at a time...

I tossed my Coleman toaster. It didn't toast as much a dry the bread. Switched to English muffins on the BBQ.

Look up info on a Camp Chef Yukon! And all the attachments it has available! You can bake and cook whatever imaginable. Works great!! But yes, only outside.

Never had much luck with those Coleman 4 slice toasters.
I usually use a pair of wire tongs and hold the bread over the flame with them. Toasts quickly and evenly, just have a steady hand.

Im still trying to decide on a Breville toaster oven or getting the ETI installed version.
What are the inside measurements of the ETI oven? I would like to compare it to the Breville Pro.
any other pros and cons of either, please share. Thanks.... The Quilting Lady

ETI oven or a Breville convection pro toaster oven?

What is the brand and specs or model # on the ETI oven. I would like to read about it. Between my husband and I, one of us wants the ETI and the other wants a good toaster oven. Its hard to decide.

We have the oven and love it . Especially if you didn't want for whatever reason cook outside . The biggest surprise was the top burners light without a match . The oven though you still light with a match . The oven uses the propane which is great if you are boondocking . No electricity . If the temps outside are cold the oven helps warm up the trailer . Ours is a Atwood . Need to check if anything has changed . Traveling we store bread and such inside too. Pat

$250

i did lots of research before buying it... and it is awesome.

actually bakes, well, and is big enough to cook dinner for 3 people.

many frozen pizzas fit in it just fine. Cook great, as does fish in a pan, etc.

Bagel mode rocks. Toast is good.

never thought of bringing it along, but now we will, sometimes!

cheaper than an oven, and more flexible. (but needs 120v)

https://www.amazon.com/Breville-BOV8...dp/B001L5TVGW/

Wonder if it would fit under the range where the ETI ovens are suppose to go. Wonder if they would make a shelf there instead of the door or drawer?

From an earlier discussion:

There is a RV-2135 BBP, as well, but I don't think any Escape get it; they are the same except height (the "17" and "21" in the range model is the overall height, in inches).

For me the biggest problem with a toaster oven (I have A Crusinart for my 17) is that unless you carry a generator, you can't use one when dry camping. Mine draws 17 amps to start, then 7 - 10 amps throughout the cooking process. This is more than my solar & batteries can provide.

If you don't dry camp, the toaster over works great as long as it is large enough that it provides even temperatures (adding a ceramic tile in the bottom helps with both toaster & RV ovens).

Our previous Nash trailer had a range/oven where the burners were difficult to light with the sparking mechanism and the white top stained all the time. Cleaning the top consumed far too much time. Our Escape's Wedgwood model is awesome, always lighting on the first turn of the lighting knob. And the black finish should make it look good a lot longer. We use the stove when boon docking in the mountains as we fish. Most of our camping is at altitude and a bit colder, so there are only a few weeks in summer where the oven would heat up the trailer uncomfortably. Heating frozen lasagna and other dinners plus making garlic bread are our favourite uses. As we spend more time in our trailer I expect we may explore baking as well. It would save us the freezer space we use for frozen bread when we are off the grid for a couple of weeks.

I had the oven in my 21, never used it. It did carry some pots and pans, but otherwise -0- usefulness.
