I also got the email this morning, yippee. Is there a specific lock at fits the Escape the best? I can be a little on the lock challenged side sometimes.

Just a reminder for newbies. These locks won't work on the classics. Just the 2nd Gen trailers with flat entrance doors.

For those who switched to these locks, did you also do the compartments or leave them as original from factory? It would be nice to have one remote that opens all the hatches and doors, but that can get expensive? On edit I see they do not make locks that would work with Escape's compartment doors...

That's a great deal, wish we would have waited!! We bought both the door lock and the compartment lock to be able to have one key. We did run into an issue with our door lock though and had to remove it. Our door takes a little more force to close and with the plastic rvlock door handle we had to slam the door each time to try and get it to close. Not ideal for long term use. We removed the lock and put the old one back on. We are actually running up to the factory tomorrow to see if they can fix the door fit and a couple other minor warranty things. We'll let you know how it turns out!

We love the lock though and really hope it will work for us!!

If you are willing to stay strictly mechanical you can accomplish this with locks from RVLocksAndMore They appear to have a new electronic that is capable of doing the key alike with their standard G series locks but not the more secure 900 series. I have no experience with their electronic locks.

I've had the 900 series door lock (mechanical, non electronic) along with keyed alike compartment locks for the last year and I have no complaints. I do really like the single key for the trailer.

Did the email have a code for the discount? When doing online checkout, normally a code would be required for the discount. thanks

You may have to wait until 11/29 before the sale starts...

We found the remote to not fit our needs at all, as we like the idea of not bringing and keys with us and being able to open the doors. Our remotes are hidden away in the truck with the keys.

Just set the time in your calendar to remind you. I did this when I got the email, as I have to replace mine as the exterior handle is busted from someone trying to break in. They ended up busting the door window to do so.

Just so folks are aware, despite the email saying midnight tonight until noon tomorrow for the sale, it is on now. My brother who has a 19 being built has ordered two of them, one for me.

$144 each.

Thanks, Jim and Tom! I went ahead and ordered the set of keys - just in case. May use them for guests.

Picked up the lock, an extra fob and 3 compartment locks for $200.00 and some change. Less than the cost of the lock itself. Great sale!

Oh man, after my last order I will have 3 or 4 fobs, but do not use them so would gladly give a couple away. They kinda take away from the no keys needed idea so just stay in the truck (or trailer, I forget).

You got it, Fred. Doubting we will make Quartzsite this time, but still not certain. Osoyoos for sure though.
