RVlock keyless system
Has anyone installed one of these on their trailer? If you did, was it the 3.0 or the 4.0 version? We're very intrigued by this device.

The main question is if it'll work on the new 21' trailers (2nd gen).
Out of all the measurements I did with the new trailers, I didn't measure the door lock! Window, yes; door handle, no. So, I'm hoping someone with the 2nd Gen 21 footer would be willing to do that for me.
From their site it states the following:
Common size handle: 3.5" wide by 4.25" tall
Common opening size: 2.75 wide by 3.75" tall by 1/5" deep
Thanks much! Greatly appreciate it.

Funny you bring this up, I just saw this one last night. If they fit I would install one.

Interesting! I just went to their site and someone acknowledged that the system will randomly drop the programmed code and revert back to the factory default. And that it seemed pretty easy for someone else to change your code. (read in their question and answer section) Oh joy. Need to see if there are any problems with the RVlock system. Internet research time!
I've emailed ETI and asked for measurements of the door, in case nobody from the forum replies.
Edit: the comments were actually on the RVUpgrades.com site

Several of the keyless locks will work on the NEW Escapes with the flat door, including the RVLock. They won't work on the classic Escapes because there's a raised section of door panel immediately to the right of the cutout for the lock. While the cutout is the same, the keyless locks have a keypad which extends to the right of the cutout, and needs to sit flush.
I fully intended to install an RVLock system, but the raised door section means it won't fit. I went with a keyed FIC all metal lock in white instead.

Hi Robert,
Which lock did you use for replacement on classic 19? My lock seems to be acting flakey sometimes, and I am thinking of replacing it.
Thanks!
