This should not matter with sheet goods, as it goes down as one piece. I know what I bought has lots of different sized square and rectangles. I just bought the recommended size.

Maybe I am missing something? Would not be a first.

I think that requirement is for pattern upholstery, not flooring.

Maybe, because this does make a difference with repeating patterns.

Actually, what I was thinking about was that people had come up with other kinds of floors and then found that Escape would not do them. They are only doing sheet vinyl that we have heard. If you want to do separate squares or wood or something else, you have to do it yourself.

Yes, makes no sense to need more with sheets. Maybe someone at Escape extended the fabric problem to the floors. Or we don't know something.

They have quite a selection of sample books. They even let us take some samples to Escape to try them out in the trailer. When we told them we were looking for a wood type finish, they recommended Mannington.

Or, maybe the poster is mistaken and confused upholstery requirement with flooring requirement. Or, maybe we speculatith too much..

I can't find the email, but I'm sure Jackie from Pio set also said some patterns would require more. I believe it was something g regarding some of the wood-look patterns, and the direction it would run on the floor?? However, I ordered a wood-look pattern and didn't require any more.

Hey, I'm not confusing fabric with flooring. I worked with Jennifer at Pioneer and there was a flurry of emails with ETI, Pioneer and me concerning the flooring. Unfortunately I cannot find the emails. I'm sorry to speculate without the documentation to back it up. Lesson learned. To play it safe, I would always verify with ETI that the flooring you want is accepable and the quantity required.

Me too, as I was told I need a full length piece of vinyl 12'x13' for a 21. That is going to leave a lot of waste as it is and should have no seams on the main run.

The same size is required for the 5,0TA as well. This came from Escape and Jackie at Pioneer.

Trying to figure out if it has to do with the step up the trailer has or not.

I should also add that I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. I think it's incredible that ETI lets you customize this much. Both ETI and Pioneer have been great to work with. I'm getting the trailer of my dreams. Susan

Susan, never thought that for a moment.

We would certainly be interested in hearing what Jennifer or Escape were saying. We also supplied 12' x 13' as others mentioned and we have a wood plank design.

I think it has to do with the way the wood pattern comes off the 12' roll.If you want the wood pattern to run the length of the trailer (parallel to cabinets) and seamless you need 12'x13'.

As far as I know, the 12' x 13' we supplied has always been the standard amount. What it seems is that someone is being told that they may need more depending upon the pattern.

We also provided a 12'x13' on our 21' and we had leftover, as you can see in the attached photo.
