We are getting the 5.0TA Escape... I am looking for a sink grate. Has anyone purchased a sink grate for the standard 10 1/2 x 12 1/2 sink?
Thank you, I am seeking a vendor who I can purchase one from.
Thank you Escape owners

Haha, it took you quite some time to reply. Post is ancient by now.
Have to move to Calgary!!! Looks more yellow then green here by lack of rain. But next week Ponoka Stampede, always wet. Keeping fingers crossed cows won't go hungry coming winter.

Another drawback of the deep sink is that the counter is already low and you really need to bend over a lot to reach to the bottom of the sink.
But, this is also where the outside tap and wash station is handy, as you can use a basin which sits on top of a table, check out the scenery around you, and often dump the water in the bushes.
I have one of these sitting at home in the box. It is much too large. Maybe if you could turn it sideways it would work. Turned so the narrow dimension is across, it does not allow room to mount a tap behind, and I had no room to turn in or mount the tap beside it. A great sink, the square corners would have matched the range better, but too big for me. It will make a nice bar sink in the kitchen some day.

Jim, What brand / model faucet are you using? BTW your kitchen is stunning!

I know the Airstream Base Camp has a great stainless steel rounded deep sink with a folding faucet under glass but do not know the brand name. Maybe it would work for you.

I don’t suppose you have a picture with the sink and faucet?
Sorry, must have missed this post. Our sink and faucet are being installed as we don't pick up until September. Thanks to others for posting photos.

What sink do are you installing? I’m having a bear of a time finding a sink that has a grate in it.

My opinion trying to put a grate in factory sink would make sink almost unusable and would be in the way, but maybe this would work.

I think you would be better to go with aftermarket larger sink, which would give you many more grate options.

Thank you ! Why do you think it would be unusable?
I was looking at aftermarket sinks but they were all so deep. Do you have an aftermarket sink you could suggest? I wish that Escape would have a Bible of all the aftermarket products that people have bought and used with their comments, suggestions and photos, . It would be invaluable .

Maybe unusable is to strong of word, but I'm not aware of anyone that makes a grate for the factory sink. So you are left trying to make one or adapt aftermarket grate and I think the grate would not work well and would be more in the way than useful.
Many have posted pictures of aftermarket sinks they had ETI install under the “It’s Friday 2017 and beyond” thread.
http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f1...yond-8031.html
My sink has basin size of 13" x 10.5" and 8" deep and I do not think it is too deep. I Still have usable space in cabinet underneath, with that said I would not go deeper than 8" even if ETI would install such.
If you have not seen factory sink in person. It is pretty generic RV sink and most RV dealer parts department would have one you could see in person.
If you go with aftermarket sink, search internet for "Bar Sinks". Just make sure ETI approves the sink you choose.
