Spare Keys

Looking to make a spare 3rd and 4th key for my doorlock. Locksmith said he could not do this since the type of key it was. Anyone ever make any spares?

You can order them from Bauer in Grand Rapids, MI. Bauer makes the lock set used by ETI.

I believe ETI changed lock supplier recently, so it would need to know manufacturer, and the number on the key.

We had no questions or hesitation by our lock shop here. Had 2 spares of each made soon after we brought our 19 home. Do we have the "newer" lock then?

The "key guy" booth at Quartzsite in the winter made copies for us. Also my truck shell key. Another excuse to visit Qsite in the winter.

The local locksmith just wrote down the key number and ordered some, once he got them in I stopped by and he made copies of ours.

Best spare key to have is your torx screw driver, you can always remove the door with one, had to remove mine when my lock failed.

I called the manufacturer direct, gave them the key number and my credit card and they sent me 3 extras. The postage was cheap as well and were here pretty quick.

I had my spares made at Ace Hardware. They had the blanks in stock.
