The end is near!

We have started getting production photos of our 17B. Due to be completed 9/24. Excited to put it mildly!

Another 17b for another corgi family! Yay! but my Cardis and i have to wait a bit longer because the awnings aren't in. Pickup was to be the 17th. I opted to wait (at least awhile) and see if the awning catches up with us.

I did not realize that the awnings were still not in stock. I hope this won't delay my delivery. Do you know if ETI has an ETA for the awnings?

No, but they sent something awhile ago saying they'd update a week before pickup but call or email if you need to know sooner. My date was the 17th and yesterday they confirmed the awnings had not come in and no ETA for them. If the border was open I'd just pickup and go get the awning when available, as I won't use an awning for winter camping (too windy and don't sit outside much!) but I don't want someone else to install it so for now am putting off delivery to Sumas. On the other hand- last week they thought the awnings would come in Thursday... so maybe they are on the way...

Are you getting a power awning? I ask because my completion date in 9/16, and my most recent build pictures (8/25) show the manual awning is installed.

Manual. But the 17 would have a different size than yours.

17B + corgis = nice combo

Got my 17B last fall, did the x-c round-trip with my little female corg, Toast. We had great, albeit “purposeful” trip (was still working at the time, have since retired).
Totally happy and loving the trailer - as will you!

First pic - Toast and me in Sumas, after trailer first hooked to our truck
Second pic - camping with all 3 corgis on the farm of friends in Massachusetts, last weekend.

Fun, and more fun

Nice trailer. Corgis are bigger than I thought.

Escape sent me a link to folders containing my pictures. I found the email containing the link in my spam folder. You should check there, or ask you rep to resend it, because they probably have done it already. The last pictures I received, where it looked pretty complete - no cushions yet - were dated 8/25.

The email was sent by Vivian Tran, and was titled "Vivian Tran shared the folder "Photos" with you". This was generic enough that it got identified as spam. Nicole Reid was another name associated with the pictures. You may try searching your emails for those names.

I was told this week by ETI that the manual awning for my 17B is still not in stock. They hope to have additional information sometime next week. They are also out of stock on the 11k BTU A/C units, so I accepted their offer for a free upgrade to the 13.5K BTU unit. I hope my delivery will not be delayed, since we have a trip planned in mid October.

One would think that 13.5 a/c unit in a 17' trailer would be overkill and not run properly, on for 5 minutes and then off versus operating for awhile to condition the air inside See here for more info https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...tml#post353991

I have my AC- still waiting for the awning. But I'm going to pick up in two weeks anyway with the understanding that if the border isn't open by April (when I'd go get it in Chilliwack) they would ship it to me. That still seems like the best option since I live close as I'm not thrilled with the idea of someone else installing it.

We'll see. I don't blame them- or Carefree- as shipping is also impacted. But it is frustrating. Worse for you since you have to drive out and going back is not an option.

I contacted Escape regarding the 13.5k A/C unit for our 17B. They confirmed that it would probably not dehumidify properly in a 17, so now we wait for the 11K units to arrive. Lesson learned....bigger is not necessarily better.

That's too bad. I hope it comes in.
