Update On Wait Times
Hello everyone - long time forum lurker, first time poster. My wife and I are about to sign off on our build sheet for our 17A and I figured I would give a timeline of what our process has been like for those who are trying to project if/when their build will get pulled forward.
August 19, 2021: placed deposit after chatting with Harrison and Samuel. Both were very helpful and nice. At the time, only 2023 slots were open. We requested April (wanted to avoid winter pickup) but got a January slot.
We did not get any of the mass completion date revisions that others experienced last year because I believe we placed our deposit after the last one.
In December 2021, we got the email from ETI asking if we would like to roll the dice on jumping on a nebulous TBD earlier date if one became available. Immediately agreed! Anything earlier than January seemed better. Obsessively read the forum and YouTube videos so we would be ready to get our build sheet in ASAP if something opened up.
March 10, 2022: get an email from Karl saying we are being offered an earlier date at the end of August. Said configuration specialist would be in contact with us within a week, and then that they would prefer us to have them our build sheet within a week of that.
March 16: Configuration specialist reaches out
March 21: build sheet turned in after meeting with the configuration specialist.
She said that our date at the end of August should be very likely to stay, barring any delays in our build due to specific parts being in short supply of course.
TL R we originally had a year and a half wait, and this eventually shortened to 12 months almost exactly, so if your build seems far away and you are hoping to get bumped up, don't lose hope!

Yeah from what I've been reading with others, the year completion from deposit date seems like the reasonable average right now. It could be partly due to cancellations or more likely ETI builds an extra 6 months lead time into their completion dates just to give a buffer. Though it sounds like some folks ordering recently have been getting 2 year completion dates, which could be a combination of that buffer plus actual demand or supply chain delays?
Either way, thanks for posting. I have a March completion date, but ordered toward the end of Sept., I initially missed that December survey (went to my junk mail), but have since called in and had my name manually added to the earlier date list. I was expecting an email this week or last week based on some others I've read that have recently been contacted with a deposit date a week ahead of mine, but haven't heard anything yet. So I was beginning to get nervous that my name wasn't added, but your timeline helps to quells my worries a bit since you were only contacted a couple weeks for a deposit date a good 5 weeks ahead of mine. I'm just nervous to get my price locked in ASAP because I'm worried about more increases given the state of everything and not sure how much more I can afford. I'm over here checking my email every 10 minutes during PST working hours

I also placed a deposit in August 2021 but for December 2022 as earliest available date. The December email for flexibility was approved and then a March email moved up completion to August 2022. I was already planning to be in Oklahoma in late August so it's now a big question of how much more time and distance I can make available for pickup before returning to NY.

It seems like the only trailers that don't get moved up are the 5.O's

I beg to differ! They move up but not as fast as other models because they only have 1 mold. My deposit went in Dec 21,2020..for a GCD of July 2022. I got moved up twice and turned down a December 2021 delivery because of a health issue. I'm getting it delivered April 7, 2022. It was finished in early March but I work out of town and couldn't pick it up until early April. Had I excepted the Dec 10th completion, it would have been less than a year wait..

Will add another 5.0 timeline example. I placed a deposit in May 2021, was given a completion date of April 2023, & then moved up to Jan 2023. After agreeing to accept any date in 2022, I was recently given a completion date of Sept 15, 2022.
Hope to see many of you on the road soon!

Ordered mine October 30, 2020 with a GCD of March 2022. Was moved up to November of 2021, then it slipped to December 2021. Due to the holidays, received delivery in Charlotte NC on January 19th, 2022. Going camping for the 4th time tomorrow.
sofmerc, glad you received a good report from the doctors. Get that 5.0 and enjoy.
Lorraine, only 6 months to go. Time will fly by, you're going to like the 5.0.

It is surprising as well as amazing the number of forum/Escape owners who have medical issues that may be life shortening, myself included......I guess camping is a way of healing, both physically as well as mentally......therapeutically speaking. Now if we can just convince the IRS that it is a medical deduction... Not!.....

How times have changed. I received a deposit confirmation/order date ($2,500cdn) on Nov. 30, 2018. Final signed build sheet Feb. 8, 2019. Pickup in Chilliwack was on May 21, 2019.
My "configuration specialist" was CPA Harley.

I just placed a deposit on a 5.0 yesterday, 8 May 2022. The projected delivery date now is October 2024, 2 years and 5 months! Ugh. I am hoping to get a delivery date sooner. Until then, I'll use my current RV. Happy Camping.

3/20/22 placed deposit on 5.0
4/29/22 rec’d an email confirming that I accepted “any earlier completion date,” and would be emailed monthly with completion date updates.
9/2024 is my original completion date. I’m hoping and praying it will eventually be moved up to sometime in 2023.
5.0’s don’t I’ve forward as fast as the other models, from what I understand, because they only have one 5.0 mold..? Not sure what it would entail, but it seems coming up with another mold would help move things along…
