Sounds like a nice build on a responsible budget.

There has been much written about the subject of manual or power awning that you may want to research if you have not.

The power awning is very nice looking, easy to use when it works and with its case that encloses the fabric should protect the material for years to come.

However I would not get it again...l don’t like how it uses battery power every time I want to use it, I can’t lower one corner to let rain run off, or both to block sun on the horizon. Also you can not lower it to clean or make sure there is not something on top of it that could jam on putting it back into the case. It is also very unnerving when the power awning randomly does not completely go back into its case. This has only happened to us once but I now have to carry a ladder, notes and a Allen key so I can fix it in case it happens again.

My wife would be happy with the manual one, so it just be ordered instead in the future.
Thanks for the input.

Congratulations, a great pick.

I vote for the manual awning also. There's nothing worse than when your packing up and getting ready to go and your awning won't close.

Just for your consideration .... do some research in the aftermarket, you might find alternatives more attractive than the Furrion offered by ETI and elect to only get the backup-cam pre-wire.

Like solar, it's an arena that's constantly evolving and very competitive (and like me you've got lots of time to research before final decisions are due ).

Congrats on getting in the queue
